Happy 21st Birthday Trevor

We returned from a successful Big Sky shakedown cruise Sunday. Shown are a couple of photos from the trip. The conditions continued to improve through the 4 days there, with 7 - 10" of nice powder on Saturday. Kev and I made our first trip from the summit that day - a cold run down Marx, one of the steep dictator chutes. A little rocky at the top, but it got better as we descended. The quads were definitely feeling the burn by the time we made it from the 11,000 ft summit to the base area. To celebrate the first trip of the season, we made a reconnaissance trip to Moonlight Lodge to admire their Christmas decorations and have a celebratory glass of wine. The decorations were very festive, and as usual, the atmosphere was really nice. Although the trip home was a little longer due to a 'broken plane' in Minneapolis (we had to switch aircrafts before taking off), all-in-all it was a great trip. We look forward to going back in March. Kevin and I will be skiing Big Couloir at that time...before we 'get another year older when we do'...
